held on 10th August 2010
Sawdye and Harris report another excellent entry of quality horses and ponies in their monthly sale.
A huge crowd saw 115 Lots go through the ring with demand keen for those vendors with realistic expectations.
A. Dunn 16hh Gelding 9 years old sold to £1260
Irish Draft x Warmblood 16.1hh sold to £1207
Chestnut Hunt horse 16.1hh who has hunted 250 days sold to £1105
A cracking Welsh Sec D 5 years old made £820
Ponies sold between £200 (Miniature Shetland) to £705 (Roan Mare)
Young Thoroughbreds sold up to £550 (unbroken)
A bumper entry of 700 Lots of tack and equipment sold to a buoyant demand with saddles to £250 and bridles to £105.
